MY STORY
Language is my passion.
As a US citizen born abroad, I grew up both bilingual and bicultural. After completing my primary education in the US, my family returned to my birth country of Bolivia. For twenty years I lived in what some would consider one of the most socially and linguistically diverse countries in Latin America.
I hold a degree in Applied Linguistics with an emphasis in Language Teaching from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I have taught at the primary, secondary, and university levels, and built my own boutique language services business offering language classes, professional development training for linguists, and translation services.
In 2019, I returned to the US to pursue new opportunities and to expand my teaching and translation services.
